Level 2 - Handle and Fuse Puzzle

Level 2

Video Walkthrough

Objective

Open the vault by placing the handle and fuse correctly, arranging geometric shapes to match symbols, and entering the correct combination code on the front panel.

Step-by-Step Solution

  1. Take the red handle from the top of the vault
  2. Rotate the vault to access the back side and insert the handle into the small hatch door
  3. Pull the handle to the left to open the back hatch
  4. Take the fuse from inside the back hatch
  5. Place the fuse back at the top where the handle was located
  6. Swap the fuses pairwise so their symbols match the symbols displayed at the top
  7. Return to the back of the vault and wait for the light to turn from red to green
  8. Press the green button once the light turns green
  9. Arrange the geometric shapes into their matching positions according to the symbols around the box
  10. Each shape position reveals a number: left side shows '4-2', right side shows '3-1'
  11. Combine these numbers to form the code: 4231
  12. Enter the code '4231' on the front code panel to open the vault door and complete the level

💡 Tips & Tricks

  • Make sure to swap the fuses correctly - each pair needs to match the top symbols
  • Wait for the light to turn green before pressing the green button
  • Pay attention to the symbols on each face of the vault to determine where each geometric shape belongs
  • The numbers appear after placing shapes correctly - left side gives you 4-2, right side gives you 3-1
  • The code is read left to right: 4 (from left), 2 (from left), 3 (from right), 1 (from right)
  • If shapes don't fit, check that you've pressed the green button after the light turns green

⚠️ Common Mistakes

  • Not waiting for the light to turn green before pressing the button
  • Incorrectly swapping the fuses - symbols must match exactly
  • Placing geometric shapes in wrong positions - carefully match symbols on each face
  • Entering the code in wrong order - remember it's 4-2-3-1 from left to right
  • Forgetting to pull the handle to open the back hatch
  • Not placing the fuse back at the top after taking it from the hatch

Additional Notes

Level 2 introduces more complex mechanics involving multiple steps and interactions with different parts of the vault.

What You'll Learn

  • Multi-step Puzzle Solving: This level requires completing steps in sequence
  • Handle Mechanism: Using handles to access hidden compartments
  • Fuse Swapping: Matching symbols by swapping fuses in pairs
  • Geometric Shape Placement: Arranging shapes based on symbol clues
  • Code Combination: Reading numbers from different sides and combining them

Core Mechanics Introduced

  • Back Hatch Access: Using handles to open compartments on the back of the vault
  • Fuse Management: Swapping fuses to match symbol patterns
  • Light Indicators: Waiting for visual feedback (red to green light) before proceeding
  • Multi-face Puzzle: Working with clues from different faces simultaneously
  • Code Entry: Combining information from multiple sources to create a code

Difficulty

Easy - This level introduces new mechanics but remains straightforward. Most players can solve it in 3-5 minutes.

Estimated Completion Time

3-5 minutes for first-time players, 2-3 minutes once you understand the mechanics.
