Level 31 - Wire Cutter Assembly Puzzle
Level 31
Video Walkthrough
Objective
Unlock the vault by finding arrow clues, collecting components to assemble a wire cutter, and using it to remove wires blocking the handle mechanism.
Step-by-Step Solution
- Rotate the vault to view the left side and examine the lower right corner edge to find a clue showing five arrows
- Look at the top of the safe to see a round cover with four arrows positioned around it
- Tap the arrows on the top cover in the correct sequence based on the arrow clue from the left side edge
- Once the cover opens, collect the Screw and Handle from inside
- Rotate to the back of the safe and locate the cog wheel mechanism near the top
- Insert the handle into the hole in the cog wheel
- Turn the handle clockwise to open the doors and reveal a Wire Cutter Half inside
- Collect the first Wire Cutter Half from the opened compartment
- Rotate to the right side of the safe and look at the bottom panel section
- Notice the red light above the panel and tap it to open the panel
- Collect the second Wire Cutter Half from this panel
- Open your inventory and view one of the Wire Cutter Halves
- Combine the second Wire Cutter Half and the Screw with the first half to create the complete Wire Cutter
- Return to the front of the safe and examine the circular panel below the mask
- Use the assembled Wire Cutter to cut and remove the wires from the handle
- Once the wires are removed, turn the handle to unlock and open the vault
- Collect the Fossil artifact to complete Level 31
💡 Tips & Tricks
- Pay close attention to the arrow sequence on the left side edge - this tells you the order to tap the arrows on top
- The arrow clue shows five arrows, but you only need to tap four arrows on the top cover in the correct sequence
- Make sure to collect both Wire Cutter Halves before attempting to assemble the tool
- The red light on the right side panel is interactive - tap it to reveal the second Wire Cutter Half
- You must combine all three items (two halves and the screw) in your inventory to create the complete Wire Cutter
- The wires blocking the handle are clearly visible once you examine the front panel closely
- After cutting the wires, the handle should turn freely to open the vault
⚠️ Common Mistakes
- Not examining the left side edge carefully enough to see the five-arrow clue
- Tapping the top arrows in the wrong sequence - follow the arrow clue exactly
- Forgetting to collect the Screw from the top cover before moving on
- Not inserting the handle into the cog wheel hole on the back before trying to turn it
- Missing the red light on the right side panel - it's easy to overlook
- Trying to use the Wire Cutter Halves separately instead of combining them first
- Not adding the Screw when combining the Wire Cutter Halves in inventory
- Attempting to turn the handle before cutting the wires that are blocking it
Additional Notes
Level 31 introduces item assembly mechanics and requires careful observation of clues across multiple faces of the vault.
What You'll Learn
- Arrow Sequence Puzzles: Following arrow clues to determine the correct tapping order
- Item Assembly: Combining multiple components to create a usable tool
- Multi-location Item Collection: Gathering items from different parts of the vault
- Tool Usage: Using assembled items to remove obstacles blocking mechanisms
- Handle Mechanism: Understanding how handles interact with cog wheels and doors
Core Mechanics Introduced
- Arrow Clue Reading: Interpreting arrow sequences from one location to solve puzzles in another
- Cover Opening: Using arrow sequences to unlock covers and access hidden compartments
