Objective

Open the vault by sliding panels to access compartments, collecting gears of different shapes, and placing them in the correct slots on the front door to unlock it.

Step-by-Step Solution

  1. Rotate the vault to the left side and examine the golden metal panels
  2. Move the two golden plates - slide one panel downward and another panel to the right to open the hatch
  3. Take the red button from inside the opened compartment
  4. Rotate to the right side of the vault and place the red button at the top
  5. Turn the squares (rotate the blocks in the grid) to create a clear path from the top to the bottom spot
  6. Pull the button down through the cleared path to activate it
  7. Collect the triangle cog that appears after activating the button
  8. Rotate to the back of the vault and place the triangle cog into its matching slot
  9. Collect the square cog that appears after placing the triangle cog
  10. Rotate to the top of the vault and pull open the hatch/compartment door
  11. Collect the pentagon cog from inside the top compartment
  12. Rotate to the front of the vault and place both the square cog and pentagon cog into their matching slots on the door lock
  13. Open the vault door to complete the level

💡 Tips & Tricks

  • Pay close attention to the sliding directions - one panel slides down, the other slides right
  • The button must be placed at the top of the right side panel for the path mechanism to work
  • Turn the squares carefully to ensure a clear vertical path from top to bottom
  • Each gear shape (triangle, square, pentagon) matches a specific slot - don't mix them up
  • The top hatch may be easy to miss - make sure to check the top of the vault
  • All gears must be collected before you can unlock the front door
  • The triangle cog goes on the back, while square and pentagon cogs go on the front door

⚠️ Common Mistakes

  • Sliding the golden panels in the wrong directions - one must go down, one must go right
  • Placing the red button in the wrong position on the right side
  • Not creating a complete path for the button to travel from top to bottom
