Level 18
Video Walkthrough
Objective
Open the vault by collecting items, using the lens to reveal a symbol clue, collecting multiple keys through various methods, adjusting the frequency dial with the diskette, and solving the elevator puzzle to collect the final puzzle part.
Step-by-Step Solution
- Look at the front left of the safe to find a Briefcase
- Collect the Briefcase from the front left
- Open the Briefcase in your inventory to get a Diskette
- Turn to the back of the safe and look for a small model elevator
- Look inside the small model elevator to find a blue Lens
- Collect the blue Lens from inside the model elevator
- Turn to the front of the safe and look at the top right
- Find the round slot on the top right of the safe
- Place the Lens in the round slot
- This reveals a three-symbol clue
- Look at the top of the safe to find a padlock
- Use the three-symbol clue on the padlock
- Set the symbols on the padlock to match the three-symbol clue
- When the padlock is opened correctly, collect the Magnet
- Look at the top of the safe to find a round yellow lid
- Turn the yellow lid to open it
- Collect the Bronze Key from inside the opened lid
- Turn to the right side of the safe and look for a postbox
- The postbox has a key behind glass
- Use the Magnet on the postbox to drag up the key
- Collect the Golden Key that is pulled up by the magnet
- Turn to the left side of the safe
- Look for three key-shaped slots on the left side
- Use the Golden Key in the top key-shaped slot
- This opens the first slot and you can collect a Silver Key
- Collect the Silver Key from the opened slot
- Use the Silver Key in the second slot on the left side
- Use the Bronze Key in the third slot on the left side
- When all three keys are used correctly, a door opens
- Collect the Cog Key from the opened door
- Turn to the front of the safe and look at the right side
- Find the cog-shaped hole on the right side
- Use the Cog Key in the cog-shaped hole
- This opens an outer door
- Look inside the opened door near the bottom to find a wide slot
- Place the Diskette into the wide slot at the bottom
- Look above the slot to find a knob
- Turn the knob above the slot to adjust the frequency dial on the left
- Watch the waveform display as you adjust the frequency
- Continue adjusting until the waveform becomes smooth
- When the waveform is smooth, you can collect the Elevator's Card
- Collect the Elevator's Card
- Turn to the back of the safe and look at the elevator
- Find the elevator buttons on the right side of the elevator
- Add the Elevator's Card to the elevator buttons
- Now you can use the elevator buttons to move between floors
- Use the buttons to send the elevator up to Floor III
- When the elevator reaches Floor III, collect a Movable Puzzle Part
- Collect the Movable Puzzle Part from Floor III
- Use the elevator buttons to return to Floor I
- Look at the center of the elevator area on Floor I
- Add the Movable Puzzle Part to the center
- Complete the puzzle with the movable part to unlock the vault
- Collect the artifact to complete Level 18
💡 Tips & Tricks
- Make sure to open the Briefcase in your inventory to get the Diskette - it won't appear automatically
- The lens must be placed in the round slot before the three-symbol clue will appear
- The three symbols on the padlock must match exactly - check the clue carefully
- The magnet is used to pull the key up from behind the glass in the postbox
- All three keys (Golden, Silver, Bronze) must be used in the correct slots on the left side
- The keys must be used in order: Golden in top slot, Silver in second slot, Bronze in third slot
- The diskette must be placed in the slot before you can adjust the frequency dial
- Adjust the frequency dial slowly and watch the waveform - it needs to be completely smooth
- The elevator card must be added to the buttons before you can use the elevator
- Make sure to collect the Movable Puzzle Part from Floor III before returning to Floor I
- The movable puzzle part must be added to the center on Floor I to complete the puzzle
⚠️ Common Mistakes
- Not opening the Briefcase in inventory to get the Diskette
- Placing the lens in the wrong slot - it must go in the round slot on the top right
- Not seeing the three-symbol clue after placing the lens
- Setting the padlock symbols incorrectly - they must match the three-symbol clue exactly
- Not using the magnet correctly to pull the key from the postbox
- Using the keys in wrong order on the left side - Golden first, then Silver, then Bronze
- Not using all three keys before trying to collect the Cog Key
- Placing the diskette before using the Cog Key to open the door
- Not adjusting the frequency dial enough - the waveform must be completely smooth
- Trying to use the elevator without adding the Elevator's Card to the buttons
- Not going to Floor III to collect the Movable Puzzle Part
- Forgetting to return to Floor I after collecting the puzzle part
- Not adding the Movable Puzzle Part to the center on Floor I
