Level 21 - Rings and Symbols Puzzle
Level 21
Video Walkthrough
Objective
Open the vault by collecting the key, solving the rings puzzle to get cog wheels, pulling pins in correct order, using tools to access the mirror box, matching symbols to colors based on clues, and placing cog wheels in the correct positions.
Step-by-Step Solution
- Look at the front of the safe, specifically at the bottom right side
- Collect the Key from the bottom right side of the front
- Turn to the right side of the safe to find a puzzle
- This is a rings puzzle with five rings rotating in opposite directions
- On the outer ring there is a blue arrow, and in the center there is a blue circle
- The other rings have some moving yellow blocks and some fixed blocks that do not move
- Tap the puzzle to make the blue arrow move inwards to the next circle
- If the arrow hits a yellow block or comes into contact with one of the fixed blocks, it will reset to the start (outer ring)
- Carefully time your taps to navigate the blue arrow through the rings
- Avoid the yellow blocks and fixed blocks as you move the arrow inward
- Get the blue arrow to reach the center circle
- Once the blue arrow reaches the center, you will collect the Cog Wheel
- Collect the Cog Wheel from the rings puzzle
- Turn to the back of the safe and look at the top
- Find a compartment covered by four pins at the top of the back
- Pull the pins out in the correct order to open the compartment
- The correct order is important - pull them one at a time in sequence
- Once all pins are pulled in the correct order, the compartment opens
- Collect another Cog Wheel from the opened compartment
- Look at the bottom of the back of the safe
- Find a key hole at the bottom
- Use the Key in the key hole
- This opens a compartment and you can collect a Lever and a Screwdriver
- Collect both the Lever and the Screwdriver
- Turn to the top of the safe
- Find a slot on the top of the safe
- Place the Lever into the slot
- Pull the lever down to open a hatch
- Inside the hatch is a mirror box
- Tap the four arrows around the mirror box to move the box
- As you move the box, you will view four colored symbols
- These colored symbols are a clue that you need to remember
- Note which symbol corresponds to which color
- Turn to the left side of the safe
- Look towards the bottom to find a circle with four symbols on it
- Around the circle are four colored lights
- Tap a symbol to move that segment of the circle out
- You can then rotate the segment around to place it back into another location
- Match the correct symbols to the colors based on the clue from the top mirror box
- Place each symbol segment so it aligns with the matching colored light
- When all symbols are correctly matched to their colors, you can collect a third Cog Wheel
- Collect the third Cog Wheel
- Turn to the front of the safe
- Look at the four corners of the front - there are cogs in each corner
- Two of the corners have clear covers: bottom left and top right
- Use the Screwdriver to remove the clear covers from these two corners
- Now three of the corners have cogs missing (empty slots)
- Place the correct Cog Wheel into each of the empty slots
- Match each cog wheel to the appropriate corner based on size and design
- When all three cog wheels are correctly placed, the door of the safe opens
- Collect the Medal of Honor artifact to complete Level 21
💡 Tips & Tricks
- For the rings puzzle, watch the rotation patterns carefully before tapping
- The yellow blocks and fixed blocks move at different speeds - time your taps carefully
- If the arrow resets, don't worry - just try again with better timing
- The pins on the back must be pulled in a specific order - try different sequences if one doesn't work
- Make sure to remember the colored symbols from the mirror box - you'll need them for the symbols puzzle
- The mirror box symbols show which symbol goes with which color - write them down if needed
- For the symbols puzzle, you can rotate segments before placing them back
- Each symbol segment must match the colored light it's placed next to
- The cog wheels on the front have different sizes - make sure to match them correctly
- The screwdriver is needed to remove the clear covers before you can place the cog wheels
- All three cog wheels must be placed in the correct corners for the door to open
- Take your time with the rings puzzle - precision is more important than speed
⚠️ Common Mistakes
- Not collecting the key from the front before trying to use it
- Tapping too quickly in the rings puzzle and hitting blocks
- Not watching the rotation patterns before attempting the rings puzzle
- Pulling the pins in wrong order on the back compartment
- Not using the key in the back key hole before trying to collect items
- Forgetting to remember the colored symbols from the mirror box
- Not using the lever to open the hatch and access the mirror box
- Not moving the mirror box to see all four colored symbols
- Not matching symbols to the correct colors in the symbols puzzle
- Not rotating symbol segments before placing them back
- Trying to place cog wheels before removing the clear covers with the screwdriver
- Placing cog wheels in wrong corners - they must match the design
- Not placing all three cog wheels correctly
- Rushing through the rings puzzle instead of timing taps carefully
- Not checking which corners have clear covers before using the screwdriver
Additional Notes
Level 21 introduces rotating ring navigation puzzles, pin sequence puzzles, mirror box clue systems, color-symbol matching, and cog wheel placement mechanics that require careful observation, timing, and pattern recognition.
What You'll Learn
- Ring Navigation Puzzles: Navigating arrows through rotating rings while avoiding obstacles
- Pin Sequence Puzzles: Pulling pins in the correct order to open compartments
- Mirror Box Clue Systems: Using mirror boxes to reveal important clues
