Level 40 - Magnifying Glass, Globe, Arrow Direction, and Valve

Level 40

Video Walkthrough

Objective

Unlock the vault by collecting lens and frame, creating a magnifying glass, using it on the globe to find islands, solving button sequence puzzle, arranging blocks, navigating maze to collect valve, changing arrow directions, and using valve to open the safe.

Step-by-Step Solution

  1. Look at the top center of the front of the safe and locate the small blue circle
  2. Tap the small blue circle at the top center to collect a Lens
  3. Look at the bottom of the front of the safe and locate the small drawer
  4. Open the small drawer at the bottom front
  5. Collect the Frame from the opened drawer
  6. Turn to the left side of the safe and notice the screen
  7. Examine the screen on the left side - it shows four squares and arrows from left to right
  8. This is a clue for later - remember the pattern of squares
  9. Look at the top of the screen and locate the small square with a light
  10. Tap the small square with light at the top to open the drawer
  11. Collect the Token from the opened drawer
  12. Turn to the back of the safe and view the cylinder shape near the top
  13. Turn the cylinder around to rotate it
  14. As you rotate the cylinder, you will see three country/island shapes in the center circle
  15. Study these three shapes carefully - you will need to find them on the globe
  16. Turn to the top of the safe and locate the globe map in the center
  17. Open your inventory and view the Frame
  18. Add the Lens to the Frame in your inventory
  19. This combines them to create the Magnifying Glass
  20. Use the Magnifying Glass on the globe map to place it in a slot
  21. Now you can turn the globe around to search for the three islands
  22. Rotate the globe and use the magnifying glass view to find the three islands you saw on the cylinder
  23. Get each island under the magnifying glass to highlight it
  24. Continue rotating the globe until all three islands are highlighted
  25. Once all three islands are highlighted, a panel opens to reveal four buttons
  26. Turn to the left side of the safe and examine the clue on the screen
  27. The clue shows four squares and arrows - notice which lines have squares
  28. The squares appear on the 2nd, 4th, 1st, and 3rd lines (from top to bottom)
  29. Return to the panel with four buttons
  30. Tap the buttons in the correct order based on the clue
  31. Enter the button sequence: 2, 4, 1, 3
  32. After entering the correct sequence, collect the Key that appears
  33. Turn to the right side of the safe and locate the panel at the bottom
  34. Open the panel at the bottom of the right side
  35. Examine the block arrangement puzzle - there are six rows of blocks
  36. Use the arrows to move each row of blocks left or right
  37. Look at the bottom of the puzzle to see numbers for six columns
  38. Arrange the blocks so that the number of blocks in each column matches the numbers shown at the bottom
  39. Continue adjusting the rows until all columns match the target numbers
  40. Once the blocks are correctly arranged, collect the Box that appears
  41. Open your inventory and view the Box
  42. Use the Key on the Box in your inventory to open it
  43. Collect the Arrow Button from the opened box
  44. Turn to the back of the safe and locate the panel on the top left
  45. View the panel on the top left of the back
  46. Add the Arrow Button to the controls at the bottom of the panel
  47. Add the Token to the controls at the top of the panel
  48. Now use the controls to move the token around the small maze
  49. You will not be able to see the token for most of the time
  50. Make sure to count the moves so that you do not miss the turn in the middle
  51. Move the token carefully through the maze using the arrow controls
  52. Guide the token to the Power symbol on the upper left of the maze
  53. Once the token reaches the Power symbol, a section opens on the top of the safe
  54. Turn to the top of the safe and collect the Valve from the opened section
  55. Go back to the front of the safe
  56. View the arrow on the right side of the front
  57. Notice the arrow is pointing to the right and there is a pink light
  58. Look above the arrow and to the left - there are two lights that are off
  59. Examine the arrow - it is made up of four sections
  60. Tap each of the four sections to change the arrow direction
  61. Change the sections until you have an arrow that points up
  62. Once the arrow points up, the top light will light up
  63. Then change the sections again to make the arrow point left
  64. Once the arrow points left, a cover will open on the left side
  65. View the opened cover on the left side
  66. Add the Valve to the mechanism in the opened cover
  67. Once the valve is added, the safe will open
  68. Collect the Weather Simulator artifact to complete Level 40

💡 Tips & Tricks

  • Collect all three items (Lens, Frame, Token) before starting the puzzles
  • Check the left side screen early - it shows the clue for the button sequence
  • Rotate the cylinder on the back to clearly see all three island shapes
  • Combine the Lens and Frame in inventory by adding Lens to Frame
  • Use the magnifying glass on the globe map slot before rotating
  • Take your time rotating the globe to find all three matching islands
  • The button sequence is 2, 4, 1, 3 based on which lines have squares on the left side
  • For the block arrangement, work systematically column by column
  • In the maze, count your moves since you can't see the token most of the time
  • The maze target is the Power symbol on the upper left
  • The arrow has four sections - tap each section to change direction
  • Change arrow to point up first (lights top light), then left (opens cover)
  • Make sure to collect the Valve from the top after completing the maze

⚠️ Common Mistakes

  • Not collecting all three initial items (Lens, Frame, Token) before starting
  • Not checking the left side screen for the button sequence clue
  • Not carefully examining the cylinder to identify all three island shapes
  • Trying to use Lens and Frame separately instead of combining them in inventory
  • Not placing the magnifying glass in the slot before rotating the globe
  • Highlighting the wrong islands on the globe - make sure they match the cylinder
  • Tapping buttons in wrong order - remember it's 2, 4, 1, 3 based on square positions
  • Not arranging blocks correctly to match column numbers
  • Trying to use the Arrow Button before opening the Box with the Key
  • Not adding both Arrow Button and Token to the maze controls
  • Not counting moves in the maze and missing the middle turn
  • Not reaching the Power symbol in the maze - it's on the upper left
  • Forgetting to collect the Valve from the top after completing the maze
  • Not changing the arrow direction correctly - must point up first, then left
  • Trying to add the Valve before opening the left cover
