Objective

Unlock the vault by solving the stars puzzle, collecting card and tile, playing the bucket game to get the brush, revealing and entering the letter code, solving the number tile puzzle, collecting battery, entering the number code to get token, and placing the token in the round slot.

Step-by-Step Solution

  1. Look at the front of the safe and locate the circular part that sticks out
  2. Tap the circular protrusion on the front of the safe
  3. This opens a view - look under the left side
  4. Collect the Paper Clue
  5. Turn to the left side of the safe
  6. Locate the round panel on the left side
  7. Examine the puzzle on the round panel
  8. There are six stars on the grid with colored backgrounds
  9. Move the stars around to place each star on the matching colored background
  10. Continue moving stars until all six are on their matching colored spots
  11. Once the Stars Puzzle is solved, you will see a number clue
  12. Note the number clue for later
  13. View the round foot at the bottom of the left side of the safe
  14. Tap the side of the round foot to open it
  15. Collect the Card from the opened round foot
  16. Turn back to the front of the safe
  17. Locate the slot at the top of the circular protrusion
  18. Place the Card in the slot at the top of the circular protrusion
  19. A door will open after placing the card
  20. Collect the Tile from the opened door
  21. Turn to the back of the safe
  22. Locate the screen at the top of the back
  23. View the Bucket Game on the screen
  24. Tap to start the mini-game
  25. Tap to the left or right to move the bucket
  26. Sweets and bombs will fall down from the top
  27. Catch all of the sweets and avoid the bombs
  28. Catch eight sweets to win the game
  29. Once you have caught eight sweets, collect the Brush
  30. Notice on the back of the safe there are two more numbers on the left and right
  31. Note these number clues for the keypad code later
  32. Turn to the right side of the safe
  33. Look towards the bottom of the right side to see a dirty mark
  34. Use the Brush on the dirty mark to clean it
  35. When cleaned, a clue of letters is revealed
  36. Note the letter clue
  37. Look at the top of the same (right) side of the safe
  38. Locate the letter code input
  39. Set the letter code input to match the clue you revealed
  40. Enter the letter code (e.g. LANMI or as shown by the clue)
  41. After entering the correct letter code, a panel appears with number tiles on it
  42. Add the Tile you collected to the panel
  43. Examine the Number Tile Puzzle - there are five tiles on a board at the bottom
  44. Slide the five tiles around on the board
  45. Swap them around to arrange them in number order
  46. Continue sliding until the tiles are in correct numerical sequence
  47. Once the Number Tile Puzzle is solved, collect the Battery
  48. Turn to the back of the safe again
  49. Locate the keypad at the bottom of the back
  50. Add the Battery to the right side of the keypad
  51. You can now enter a number code
  52. Use the number clues you have seen on the safe (from the stars puzzle, and the two numbers on the left and right of the back)
  53. Enter the number code on the keypad
  54. After entering the code correctly, collect the Token that appears
  55. Turn to the front of the safe
  56. Locate the round slot on the left side of the front
  57. Place the Token in the round slot on the left
  58. Once the token is placed, the safe opens
  59. Collect the Nutritional Supplement artifact to complete Level 42

💡 Tips & Tricks

  • Tap the circular protrusion first to look under the left side and get the Paper Clue
  • Solve the Stars Puzzle - match each star to its colored background, then note the number clue
  • The Card is in the round foot on the left side - tap the side of the foot to open it
  • Place the Card in the slot on top of the circular protrusion to open the door and get the Tile
  • In the Bucket Game, tap left or right to move the bucket - catch sweets only, avoid bombs
  • You need to catch eight sweets to win and get the Brush
  • Note the two numbers on the left and right of the back - they are part of the keypad code
  • Use the Brush on the dirty mark at the bottom of the right side to reveal the letter clue
  • Set the letter code input (on the same side) to the revealed clue
  • Add your Tile to the number tile panel when it appears
  • Slide the five tiles into number order to get the Battery
  • Add the Battery to the right of the keypad on the back before entering the number code
  • Combine all number clues (stars puzzle + back left and right) to form the keypad code
  • After the keypad, collect the Token and place it in the round slot on the left of the front

  • Not tapping the circular protrusion to look under the left side first
  • Not placing all six stars on matching colored backgrounds in the Stars Puzzle
  • Not noting the number clue that appears after the Stars Puzzle
  • Not tapping the side of the round foot to open it - the Card is inside
  • Not placing the Card in the slot to get the Tile before the number tile puzzle
  • Catching bombs in the Bucket Game - only catch sweets
  • Not catching eight sweets to win the game
  • Missing the two numbers on the left and right of the back of the safe
  • Not using the Brush on the dirty mark before trying to enter the letter code
  • Not setting the letter code input to the revealed clue
  • Not adding the Tile to the number tile panel when it appears
