Objective

Unlock the vault by solving the lever puzzle for the symbol-number clue, entering the four-digit code on the right, completing the symbol rings puzzle to reveal the track puzzle, routing five balls to the correct colored destinations for the key, using the key on the front keyhole to open the top panel, and solving the nine-light sequence puzzle to open the safe.

Step-by-Step Solution

  1. Turn to the left side of the safe
  2. Look at the top section on the left side
  3. There is a lever in the center with four lights around it, each with an arrow (directions)
  4. Examine the Lever Puzzle
  5. Move the lever in one of the four directions (left, right, up, or down)
  6. If the order is correct for that direction, the light for that direction will turn green
  7. If the order is wrong, the light will turn red and you must try again
  8. Work out the correct order for all four directions
  9. The solution order is: Left, then Right, then Up, then Down
  10. When all four directions are correct, a clue will appear below with symbols and numbers
  11. Note the symbols and numbers from this clue
  12. Turn to the right side of the safe
  13. At the top of the right side is a code entry with four symbols as the clue
  14. Use the symbol-number clue from the lever puzzle to get the four-digit number code
  15. Enter the number code (e.g. 5731) in the code entry
  16. When the code is correct, another puzzle is revealed below
  17. Examine the Symbol Rings Puzzle
  18. There are seven rings, each with six symbols on it
  19. Tap a ring to rotate it
  20. Rotate the rings so that the symbols that are next to each other (adjacent) match up correctly
  21. Continue rotating until all adjacent symbols are matched
  22. When the symbol rings puzzle is complete, another panel opens on the back of the safe
  23. Turn to the back of the safe
  24. View the Track Puzzle
  25. Tap the start button to release a colored ball
  26. Set the junction points so the ball travels to the correct colored destination
  27. There are five colored destinations on the track and three junction points
  28. You must set the junctions quickly; if the ball reaches the wrong destination you must start again
  29. Repeat this for all five colors - route each colored ball to its matching colored destination
  30. When all five balls have reached their correct destinations, collect the Key
  31. Turn to the front of the safe
  32. Find the keyhole at the top of the front
  33. Use the Key in the keyhole
  34. This opens a panel on top of the safe
  35. Look on top of the safe to see the new panel
  36. Examine the Sequence puzzle
  37. There are nine lights; tap them in the correct order to turn them all green
  38. Find the correct tapping sequence and tap the nine lights in that order
  39. When all nine lights are green, the safe will open
  40. Collect the Martian Book artifact to complete Level 49

💡 Tips & Tricks

  • In the Lever Puzzle, try each direction in turn; the order that works is Left, Right, Up, Down
  • Green light = correct for that direction; red = wrong, try again
  • The clue below the lever gives symbols and numbers - use it for the four-symbol code on the right
  • Enter the four-digit number (e.g. 5731) that corresponds to the four symbols
  • In the Symbol Rings Puzzle, tap rings to rotate; align symbols where rings meet (adjacent)
  • After the rings, the Track Puzzle is on the back - route each colored ball to its matching color
  • Set junctions before or as the ball moves; one wrong destination means restart
  • Do all five colors to get the key, then use the key on the front top keyhole
  • The top panel has nine lights - tap them in the correct sequence to turn all green
