Level 48 - Dials Puzzle, Circles Puzzle, Piano Puzzle, Token Matching, and Block Puzzle
Level 48
Video Walkthrough
Objective
Unlock the vault by collecting two clue papers, restoring the back image to get the paper clip and ring dial, entering the word code on the dials puzzle for the first token, matching the circles pattern for the piano clue, tapping the piano keys in the correct order and count for the second token, completing the token match-three puzzle for the key, using the key to lift the top, and sliding blocks to match symbols for the final open.
Step-by-Step Solution
- Look at the front of the safe
- Notice the symbol with x3 on the lower right of the front - this is a clue for later
- Look at the top left corner of the front
- Find the darker dial near the bottom and turn it
- After turning the dial, collect the first Double-sided clue paper (1)
- Turn to the right side of the safe
- Look at the bottom right of the right side
- Press the white square button
- Collect the second Double-sided clue paper (2)
- Turn to the back of the safe
- Note the symbol on the top left of the back with x2 - another clue
- View the bottom panel on the back
- Move the slider to the right to reveal the puzzle
- A jumbled image appears with three circular parts that can be rotated
- Tap each circular part to rotate it and restore the image
- Rotate the bottom circle first, then the top right, then the top left
- When the image is restored correctly, collect the Paper Clip
- Look above this panel to find a key hole
- Use the Paper Clip on the key hole to open it
- Collect the Ring Dial
- Turn to the left side of the safe
- View the panel at the bottom of the left side
- There are ring dials with one slot missing in the center
- Add the Ring Dial to the empty slot
- Set the code using the ring dials - check the second clue paper for the word
- Enter the word VAULT (or the word shown on the second clue paper)
- When the code is correct, collect the first Token
- Turn to the right side of the safe
- Look at the screen at the top of the right side
- Examine the Circles Puzzle - move the circles on the screen to copy the clue pattern
- Look at the first clue paper; it shows a similar grid with a layout of circles
- There is a square you can move around; tap it to rotate the pattern of circles within it
- The grid has circles - some are outlines and some are full
- Match the circle pattern to the first clue paper
- When the circles match, a clue with a symbol and x2 appears
- A panel opens below and reveals a piano keyboard
- Look on top of the safe to see one more symbol with x1
- Examine the Piano Puzzle
- Turn the first clue paper to the back - it shows four symbols in order
- Turn the second clue paper to the back - it shows the symbols and the keys on the piano keyboard
- Tap the piano keys that match the symbols in the order shown on the first clue paper
- Tap each key the number of times shown on the clues around the safe (x3, x2, x2, x1 for the four symbols)
- When the piano sequence is correct, collect the second Token
- Turn to the left side of the safe
- Look at the top panel on the left side
- There is a grid of tokens with two empty slots
- Add both tokens to the two empty slots
- Examine the Token matching puzzle - turn over tokens to find three with matching symbols
- Find all sets of three matching symbols to complete the puzzle
- If you turn over the wrong token, the ones you have already seen will swap places
- Complete all triples to finish the puzzle
- Collect the Key
- Turn to the front of the safe
- Use the Key on the keyhole
- The top of the safe will lift
- Turn to the back of the safe
- View the Block Puzzle that is now accessible
- There are four blocks with symbols on them and four matching symbols around the sides
- Slide the blocks around the board so that each block with a symbol is placed next to its matching symbol
- When all four blocks are next to their matching symbols, the safe opens
- Collect the Cultural Archive artifact to complete Level 48
💡 Tips & Tricks
- Note all three symbol clues (x3 on front lower right, x2 on back top left and after circles, x1 on top) for the piano - they tell you how many times to tap each key
- Turn the front top-left dial to get the first clue paper, then press the white button on the right bottom to get the second
- For the back image puzzle: move the slider right, then rotate bottom circle first, then top right, then top left
- Use the paper clip on the key hole above the image panel to get the ring dial
- The second clue paper gives the word for the dials - enter it on the left-side ring dials (e.g. VAULT)
- In the Circles Puzzle, use the first clue paper (front side) for the circle layout; move the square and tap to rotate
- Piano: first clue paper back = symbol order; second clue paper back = which keys; clues on safe = how many times per key
- In the token puzzle, wrong flips cause tokens to swap - try to remember positions and find all triples
- Use the key on the front keyhole to lift the top, then solve the block puzzle on the back
⚠️ Common Mistakes
- Not noting the x3, x2, x1 clues for the piano key tap counts
- Rotating the back image circles in the wrong order - use bottom, then top right, then top left
- Entering the wrong word on the dials - check the second clue paper
- Not matching the circle pattern exactly to the first clue paper
- Tapping the piano keys in the wrong order or wrong number of times
- In the token puzzle, flipping randomly so that seen tokens swap and you lose track
- Forgetting to use the key on the front keyhole before the block puzzle
- Not sliding blocks so each symbol block is next to its matching side symbol
Additional Notes
Level 48 uses two double-sided clue papers, a three-part image puzzle, a word dial puzzle, a circles pattern puzzle, a piano key sequence puzzle, a match-three token puzzle, and a final block-sliding puzzle to open the safe.
What You'll Learn
- Symbol and count clues: Using x3, x2, x1 on the safe to know how many times to tap each piano key
- Image restoration: Rotating three circular parts in order (bottom, top right, top left) to get the paper clip
- Word code on dials: Entering the word from the second clue paper (e.g. VAULT) on the ring dials
- Circles Puzzle: Moving a square and rotating the circle pattern to match the first clue paper
- Piano Puzzle: Tapping keys in the symbol order from the first clue’s back, with tap counts from the safe clues
- Token match-three: Flipping tokens to find triples; wrong flips make tokens swap
- Block Puzzle: Sliding four symbol blocks so each sits next to its matching symbol on the sides
Core Mechanics Introduced
- Double-sided clue papers: One shows circle layout (front) and symbol order (back); the other shows word (front) and piano key mapping (back)
- Slider and rotatable image: Moving a slider to reveal a jumbled image, then rotating three circles to restore it
- Paper clip and key hole: Using the paper clip to open the key hole and get the ring dial
- Ring dial word entry: Placing the ring dial and spelling the word from the clue
- Movable square and circle rotation: Moving a square and tapping to rotate the circle pattern to match a clue
- Piano key sequence: Order from first clue back, keys from second clue back, tap counts from x3/x2/x2/x1
- Token grid: Adding two tokens then flipping to find three matching symbols; wrong flip causes a swap
- Key and lift: Using the key on the front to lift the top and access the block puzzle
- Block and symbol matching: Sliding blocks so each symbol block is adjacent to its matching symbol
Difficulty
Medium to Hard – Several linked puzzles and two clue papers (both sides used). Piano and token puzzles need care. Most players can complete it in 14–18 minutes.
Estimated Completion Time
14–18 minutes for first-time players, 8–12 minutes once you know the order and solutions.
