Level 59 - Mechanical Arm Vault, Path Grids, Obelisk, and Expedition Banner
Level 59
Video Walkthrough
Objective
Open the mechanical arm vault by clearing its early path and maze panels, assembling collected components on the pedestal and lock mechanism, finishing the token relief and door-gear puzzles, then activating the star handle to reveal and collect the Expedition Banner.
Step-by-Step Solution
- Start with the grey mechanical arm vault in the dark chamber and inspect the heavy hinged arm, base controls, and the first puzzle panels it unlocks
- Open the first path-connecting grid and link each pair of matching orange symbols with continuous paths that fill the board without crossing other lines
- At the stone obelisk, solve the top symbol square, use the two circular eye buttons in the middle section, and complete the dot-grid panel at the base to open the next area
- On the second symbol path grid, connect the remaining matching pairs the same way—every empty cell should end up filled by exactly one path
- Enter the maze panel and use the directional pad to guide the marker through the corridors; the arrow sequence bar at the top records your route, so follow the maze layout rather than guessing random directions
- In the follow-up maze variant, steer the white ball through the paths until it reaches the highlighted goal square in the corner
- Open the triangle-cutout panel and guide the white marble through the slot mechanism; collect the spiral disc and any other early components unlocked along the way
- Return to the mechanical pedestal and install the spiral disc in the top swirl panel, the small gear cluster in the middle slots, and the four-pointed star piece in the lower opening
- At the central lock assembly, rotate the left dial counter-clockwise and turn the right spiral dial until the two semicircular plates in the middle ring align and lock
- Solve the checkerboard grid puzzle by moving the winged tower piece across the light and dark squares until every required marked tile has been visited
- On the larger vault structure, collect all three bronze tokens and the metal handle from the side compartments, then use the handle on the base slider when prompted
- At the carved relief panel with two winged figures, place each symbol token from the tray onto the correct circle on the geometric star diagram until all nine slots are filled
- On the vault door, insert the curved blade gears into their matching recessed cutouts until every slot is occupied
- Turn the central star-shaped handle on the final mechanism until the green indicator lights activate and the vault opens
- Collect the Expedition Banner—a glowing white flag on a metal pole—from the revealed chamber
- Watch the short story scene between Nathan and Vega at the flag display, then complete the level for your coin reward
💡 Tips & Tricks
- On the path-connecting grids, plan from the corners inward—long paths along the edges first leave fewer trapped empty cells later
- If a maze sequence bar is filling with arrows, treat it as a record of your moves; back out and retry if the route dead-ends instead of forcing through walls
- Keep track of the 1/3 and 3/3 counters in your inventory—they tell you when the marble section and token collection are complete
- When assembling the pedestal, match each piece shape to its panel: swirl disc on top, gear bundle in the middle pair of slots, star piece below
- On the central lock dial, adjust the left and right wheels together and recheck the semicircle alignment after every rotation
- For the winged-figure token board, compare each tray symbol to the lines and nodes on the relief rather than placing tokens randomly
- Insert every curved blade gear on the door before trying the star handle—the final crank will not turn until the cutouts are full
⚠️ Common Mistakes
- Leaving empty cells on the path grids or letting two paths cross, which prevents the panel from locking
- Skipping the obelisk base grid after solving only the top symbol or eye buttons
- Randomly tapping maze directions without watching the sequence bar or the goal tile location
- Collecting the spiral disc but forgetting to return to the pedestal assembly step
- Installing only one or two parts on the pedestal and moving on before the red indicator lights change
- Stopping the checkerboard puzzle before the winged piece has covered every marked square
- Missing one of the three bronze tokens before trying to use the handle on the base slider
- Placing relief tokens on the wrong circles even when the general pattern looks close
- Trying to crank the star handle before all door gear cutouts are filled
- Missing the Expedition Banner after the vault opens because the story dialogue starts immediately
Additional Notes
Level 59 centers on a grey mechanical arm vault that chains together several different puzzle types before a multi-part assembly finale. You clear path and maze panels early, work through an obelisk interface, collect and install mechanical components, then finish with a token relief board, door gear inserts, and a star handle crank to claim the banner artifact.
What You'll Learn
- Symbol Path Linking: Connecting matching pairs on grid boards without crossing paths (Flow-style logic)
- Obelisk Multi-Panel Solving: Working through symbol, button, and dot-grid interfaces on one stone column
- Maze Sequence Input: Navigating mazes while a directional record tracks your route
- Marble Slot Guidance: Rolling a marble through a triangle cutout mechanism
- Mechanical Part Assembly: Installing a disc, gear cluster, and star piece on a pedestal
- Dual Dial Lock Alignment: Rotating paired dials to align semicircular lock plates
- Grid Piece Movement: Moving a winged tower across a checkerboard to hit all targets
- Relief Token Placement: Setting symbol tokens on a geometric diagram between carved figures
- Door Gear Insertion: Fitting curved blade gears into matching vault door cutouts
Core Mechanics Introduced
- Repeated Path-Grid Format: Two separate connect-the-pairs boards appear at different stages
- Inventory Progress Counters: Fraction counters (such as 1/3 and 3/3) gate later assembly steps
- Assembly-to-Crank Chain: Pedestal parts, lock dials, door gears, and the star handle must all be completed in order
- Storybook Finale: The Expedition Banner appears on a flag pole with a short Nathan-and-Vega dialogue
Difficulty
Medium to Hard — Many distinct puzzle types, several collection and assembly steps, and a long chain where skipping one panel blocks the finale. Most players can finish in 12–18 minutes.
Estimated Completion Time
12–18 minutes for first-time players, 8–12 minutes once you know the panel order and assembly sequence.
